creating a custom ornament design

To begin a new project with Barker Ornaments, new customers must submit high quality, shadow free, color photographs or detailed line drawings so that a sample ornament can be designed. Photos submitted by email must be photographed with high resolution cameras that are 3 mega pixels or higher.  We recommend that photographs of buildings be taken in the early morning or evening hours to minimize shadows. The largest size print available should be submitted so that fine details such as architectural features can be accurately reproduced. It is also important to take photographs of the exact angle desired for the finished ornament design. A set up fee of $35.00 is charged for the sample custom ornament to be designed and created. The sample is sent to the customer for approval before production begins on the project.

To place an order, please mail a check in the amount of $35.00 along with photographs, drawings, or digital prints to Barker Ornaments at 5879 Brown Rd. Oxford, Ohio  45056. Once received, your specially created sample ornament will be mailed to you for approval within 3 weeks.

reordering a custom ornament

To reorder a previously designed project, please contact us by phone at Barker Ornaments at (513) 523-3738. We will pull your project file, review the details of your previous orders, and help you develop a reorder plan that meets your current needs.

PLACING AN ORNAMENT ORDER

1. Select the Style:

□ Strings for display on tree

□ Magnets for year round display on refrigerator or office

□ Both Strings and Magnets

2. Select Holiday Details:

□ Add snow as appropriate on roof, lawn, and trees

□ Add Christmas wreaths as appropriate on windows and 

      door.

□ Add glitter for a three dimensional effect of the snow

.

□ No Holiday Details, this is a year round project.

3. Select Label Text:

Both new orders and reorders must submit label text.  We recommend limiting the text to 2 or 3 lines, however, labels can accommodate up to 5 lines.  Each line is limited to 30 characters.

      4.  Select the amount of ornaments needed for your project:

Please allow 5 working days for every 100 ornaments ordered. Local customers can choose to pick up orders directly from the Barker Ornament workshop and avoid shipping charges.  All other orders will be shipped via U.S. postal service. The balance due can be paid in full at the time the order is placed and MUST be paid in full prior to shipping or pick up.
